Description

This appetizer can be ready in just 45 minutes. With a little bit of diced prosciutto, and fresh parsley these ingredients come together to make a great melody of flavors. The scallops add a salty flavor, which is mixed with a creamy colorful sauce.

Ingredients

2 sea scallops
1 inch shells
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 shallots (peeled and minced)
1 slice prosciutto (diced)
1 cup white wine
fresh parsley (minced)
bread crumbs
1 tablespoon tomato purée

Directions

1Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
2Place the scallops in salty water to release any traces of sand. Clean thoroughly. Do not discard the shells.
3Add the oil to a skillet on medium heat. Saute the shallot until golden brown, about 8 minutes.
4Add the ham and stir. Cook for a minute, and then add the wine and a pinch of parsley. Cook for 10 minutes.
5Put the scallop and the filling in the shell and sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
6Place the shells on a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes.
