Description

Make your own seasoned butter to flavor this tasty Fish with Cilantro Butter dish. Combining the fresh flavors of cilantro and lime, this butter has a delicate flavor and makes the perfect spread in which to saute tilapia filets or another variety of white fish. You can also use this cilantro butter as a spread for sandwiches or for other cooking endeavours. Serve this Fish with Cilantro Butter with steamed vegetables or a garden salad.

Ingredients

200 grams unsalted butter (softened)
1 1/2 cups cilantro leaves
1 lime
salt
pepper
4 fish fillets (tilapia)
salt
pepper

Directions

1In a food processor, mix the butter and cilantro leaves until soft and fluffy.
2Add the lime juice, salt, and pepper to taste and mix again.
3Pour onto a flat surface lined with plastic wrap. Cover the butter with the plastic wrap and shape into a cylinder.
4Refrigerate.
5In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
6Add the fish fillets, then season with salt and pepper.
7Once cooked, turn over to cook on the other side.
8Serve with vegetables.
