Ingredients

170 grams walnuts (minced)
500 grams flour
2 tablespoons corn starch
3/4 teaspoons salt
340 grams unsalted butter (at room temperature)
85 grams confectioners sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla

Directions

1Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius.
2Mix the nuts, flour, cornstarch, and salt together in a bowl. Set aside.
3Cream the butter with the sugar and the vanilla with a mixer until smooth. Add the nuts and dry ingredient mixture on low speed until mixed. Cool the dough until firm (approximately 1 hour).
4Form the dough into balls 2 centimeters in diameter. Place onto parchment paper-lined or silicone baking sheets.
5Bake for 20-25 minutes, until lightly golden and firm to the touch. Let cool for approximately 5 minutes before rolling in confectioners sugar. Let cool completely before serving.
